Just a 5-minute walk from the popular summer spot of Haeundae Beach, this stylish Busan hostel features floor-to-ceiling windows and computers with complimentary WiFi access in its public areas.

Busan Popcorn Hostel is surrounded by a variety of seafood restaurants, bars and pubs. It is a 7-minute walk from the Haeundae Train Station and Haeundae Subway Station (Busan Line 2). The Busan KTX Train Station is a 35-minute drive away.

Fitted with a seating area, rooms feature air conditioning and heating facilities. Guests have access to a common living room and a kitchen with a dining area.

Very Good

Location is very close to Haeundae beach. Convenience store is across the street. Subway station 10 min walk away from the hostel. The atmosphere inside is friendly.

A little bit too noisy due to poor sound isolation between rooms.

Very Good

The room was plenty big for two people and it was clean. If you stay on the side that faces the road, it will be noisy. So make sure you have ear plugs if you need quiet to sleep. Location is excellent, by the beach and lots of places to eat. There really isn’t anyone tending to the place or people around , so it doesn’t really have a hostel vibe, but I guess given the location, why would you just hang out at the hostel when there’s lots around to do and see.

I think if you’re going to use the kitchen, you’ll be a bit grossed out. It looks like it hasn’t been used in years and therefore looked a bit run down and dirty. Don’t use it if you can avoid it.

Great Hostel

This was our second time staying here and we were not disappointed. Great location at Haeundae.

It’s totally personal preference, but I’d like the beds a little less firm.

Very Good

A lot of space in the room and the bathroom.

The noise from the hallway could easily come through the door. No lightswitch at the bed.

Spacious accommodations with an awesome view, just a couple blocks from a beautiful beach.

Spacious room with view of city and ocean. Also had an area on the 12th floor rooftop to enjoy 360 degree view. The lounge area was large with lots of windows. The location is just a couple blocks from a beautiful beach. Excellent restaurant for breakfast right across the street

It was a bit noisy from the street traffic below. Only had one key for the room which is a challenge if your party wants to split up.

Overpriced for what it offers

The common lounge area is spacious and makes a good co-working space. The staff is kind but somewhat inflexible.

I really don’t know what to say about this hostel other than it’s way overpriced for what it offers. For the same price you can get a 10 time better hostel experience and higher quality service and comfort in Japan. Capsule beds and dormitories are somewhat ran down. The mattress itself is noisy and squeeky due to the plastic cover below the sheets although reasonably comfortable. No Wifi in the dorm/rooms. I asked to temporarily store my laptop at the reception while I went to get lunch nearby - refused. I asked if I could change the assigned bed in an almost empty dormitory - refused. I would only book this again as a last option.

perfect beach weekend spot

My 5 friends and I scheduled the popcorn Hostel for a long weekend in Busan. The man at the front desk was more than helpful and our room was perfect. It was six of us so we were worried about the space but it was no problem and a quick 5 min walk to the beach made it perfect for what we wanted to do. Towels were provided and the space was very clean.

The bathroom floor had a little dip in it so it did not drain incredibly well. Other than that the room was spectacular.

The location is comfortable. Everything is near. The beds were nice. AC in the room was working well.

There was a problem with the parking. And the AC in the reception was not working well. Was a bit hot.

It would be great to have a drying rack or clothesline in the room/bathroom, for all the wet clothes from the amazing beach nearby.

Great start and location

Property was clean and well maintained. Excellent location 5 min walk from the beach. Room was quiet and didn’t hear the neighbors

Good for short stay at Busan

The proprietor was very much courteous & helpful! He helped me with my luggage to the ground floor & even called a taxi for me! Definitely going back on my next trip!

There was a damp smell in the corridors, due to lack of ventilation! The Haeundae Metro station is a little too far than expected!
